Today, Softstar Entertainment Inc., is proud to announce that acclaimed Chinese RPG Xuan Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains will launch for Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe as well as the Windows Store worldwide on December 8, 2023.
Players will take the role of heroic knight Septem in an epic journey to unite disparate cultures against a common threat. Mixing Eastern and Western mythologies and history, Xuan Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains is a traditional RPG featuring turn-based combat and beautifully illustrated 2D sprites.
Using a special Spirit Fusion Pot, players can capture and fuse enemies into new items or creatures to help through this epic quest. The game also features thematically intricate landscapes, garb, cuisine and customs. Animations and skills can be used to overcome enemies in an attempt to challenge the ambitions of the dark lord.
The digital version of the game, for Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe as well as for the Windows Store worldwide, will be available on December 8, 2023, with a 10% launch discount for a limited time. Included in the game are full support for text in English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
