Lucky Pokémon Coming Soon to Pokémon GO

Tuesday, July 24, 2018 — Today, Niantic announced that Lucky Pokémon will soon be introduced to Pokémon GO to coincide with the recently released Friends and Trading features. When traded, Pokémon will have the chance to become sparkly Lucky Pokemon, requiring less Stardust to power up. The longer a Pokémon spends inside a Trainer’s storage prior to the trade, the higher the chance of them becoming Lucky Pokémon once Traded with a Friend. Pokémon GO Three-Strike Discipline Policy Announced

Niantic has published their new Three-Strike Discipline Policy for players of Pokémon GO that have been found to be cheating. The new Policy is quoted below: Three-Strike Discipline Policy At Niantic, we strive to create a friendly and fair gameplay experience for all players. As part of that commitment, we enforce a three-strike policy against cheating. This policy may provide offenders with a series of disciplinary actions that gradually increase in severity and provide multiple opportunities to change their behavior. If offenders reform their ways, they are welcomed back into the game. However, if offenders continue cheating, they will be permanently removed from the game in accordance with the Pokémon GO Terms of Service. Up first, a report by gamesindustry.biz Pokémon Quest downloads pass 7.5 million Free-to-play mobile and Switch game gets off to a strong start Pokémon Quest has been downloaded more than 7.5 million times, reports The Pokémon Company. Pokémon Quest is a free-to-play RPG aimed at younger fans for Nintendo Switch and smartphones. It launched on Nintendo Switch on May 30th and was downloaded one million times in under two days. It was released on iOS and Android on June 27th. Alolan Forms of Pokémon Originally Discovered in the Kanto Region Are Coming to Pokémon GO!

The official Pokémon GO website has released information concerning the arrival of Alolan forms to Pokémon GO. Originally introduced in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, Alolan forms take on the same names as the Pokémon that they are modelled after, but they have unique quirks to differentiate them from the Kanto forms. For example, while Vulpix is usually a Fire-type Pokémon, in Alola, Vulpix is an Ice-type. Aside from the announcement, no future announcements have been made, so it is not known how they will be added into the game. Here is the official announcement: Sunny days are ahead!
