Terra Nil

Restore nature wherever you are with Terra Nil

Game Award-nominated environmental strategy game Terra Nil is out TODAY on Nintendo Switch!

Developed by South African studio Free Lives, the highly-acclaimed city-builder Terra Nil is now available for the Nintendo Switch. Players of Terra Nil are tasked with the challenge of restoring wastelands into vibrant, thriving ecosystems using advanced eco-tech.

Utilizing natural resources, they must cleanse the soil, purify oceans, plant trees, reintroduce wildlife, and ultimately transform the desolate environment into one that is full of life and colour.

Offering breathtaking landscapes of four procedurally generated biomes, Terra Nil challenges players to landscape craggy volcanic glaciers, mysterious ruined cities, untouched tropical islands, and much more. Each biome possesses its own unique climate, geology, flora, and fauna, and as the landscape is altered and new elements introduced, environmental transformations are visible instantly.

With the recent launch on the Nintendo Switch game system, players can now enjoy what’s been praised as a “consistently satisfying” (PC Gamer), “unique pleasure” (NPR) and “wonderfully relaxing” (Screen Rant) terrarium restoration game on the go!

The game is available now for £22.49, and is launching with an impressive 20% discount for two weeks. Commenting on this, a spokesperson for Free Lives said:

“We are absolutely thrilled about the release of Terra Nil for the Nintendo Switch, and are looking forward to seeing how this beautiful game is enjoyed by players from all over the world. The ability to transform wastelands into thriving eco-systems is one that we are immensely proud of, and being able to make that game available in the form factor of a mobile console is incredibly exciting!”

Terra Nil brings something fresh and exciting to the strategy gaming genre, and Free Lives have successfully managed to combine meditative game play with a level of challenge that is sure to keep players of all experience levels engaged.

With incredible visuals and the ability to manipulate the environment to create live ecosystems, Terra Nil is the ideal game to play on the go.
