ACQUIRE announced that C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield will be released in 2024 on Playstation5/Nintendo Switch/Steam. An exciting mix of strategy, RPG and roguelike gameplay, the game features a story about courage and finding the truth, fully-voiced characters, and explores the concept of building an optimal deck on the battlefield.
The demo of the game will be exhibited in WePlay Expo 2023 in Shanghai, China on November 18th and 19th. What’s more, Takuma Endo, the President of ACQUIRE, along with two other game producers will appear to announce new games including C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield as part of the Famitsu Dengeki Game Direct! event.
The strategic RPG game stands out with its mix of elements from traditional turn-based strategy RPG gameplay, card battling, and exploration. Players must strategically build their decks before jumping in to battle enemies on the battlefield, as different strategies are required for every play. As you progress through the game, explore the map shrouded in mist to discover enemies, facilities, and equipment to gain an advantage in battles.
Fully voiced characters are another point of interest in C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield. Characters are voiced by famous Japanese voice actors such as Lynn, Takeo Otsuka, Atsumi Tanezaki, Hiroki Yasumoto, Chiwa Saito, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Karin Takahashi, and Yuuichirou Umehara. Detailed information regarding the characters will be announced at a later date, while the game will offer different language versions such as Japanese, English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese-Brazilian, Polish, and Simplified Chinese.
