Spirittea

Spirittea is out NOW

No More Robots, the publishing label behind critically acclaimed titles like Hypnospace Outlaw and Descenders, and development studio Cheesemaster Games have today announced the launch of Spirittea, inspired by classic anime Spirited Away.

Spirittea follows a writer who has escaped to a rural area, looking for inspiration for their next novel. After drinking from an old teapot, they start to see the spirit world overlapping with reality, and their faithful guide, Wonyan, hands them the keys to an old bathhouse.

Players take on the role of the writer, living day to day and finding local NPCs and spirits to help. They can take part in a range of different hobbies, from bug catching to karaoke. Each spirit they help will turn up in their bathhouse, where they can offer them a variety of towels, salts, snacks, and hot soaks.

Upgrading the bathhouse with new furniture, rooms, and baths is essential for attracting the most exciting spirits – including Lord Spirits, who take up an entire room each.

Spirittea is now available across PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Customers can buy the game on Steam and enjoy a 10% discount until July 10th.

No More Robots and Cheesemaster Games have come together to create a life sim, management game, and detective game all in one, perfect for those who love iconic life sim Stardew Valley and classic spiritual anime and manga.
