The classic loveable characters Asterix and Obelix are back, and better than ever! The latest installment of the acclaimed franchise, Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All! 2, is sure to bring joy to fans new and old with its dynamic animations and stunning action.
The game follows the titular heroes on a new journey as they investigate the theft of the Aquila of Lutetia – the precious gold emblem of the Roman legions – and an innocent man being thrown in prison for it. This mission involves a plethora of captivating locations, fierce enemies, humorous sketches, and of course an abundance of slaps in the face.
Produced with the utmost respect to the beloved comic books, Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All! 2 was developed by Mr Nutz Studio. Fans of the beloved characters can expect a gaming experience that’s faithful to the spirit of the series. With retro-style visuals that harken back to the classic illustrations, the game will also bring a sense of nostalgia to players.
The game will feature intensified battles, signature attacks, and for the first time ever, Asterix and Obelix can unleash their Fury mode and an Ultimate attack. The environment has also been spiced up with more interactive elements like the possibility to throw barrels and menhirs at opponents in combat.
Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! 2 will be available digitally in North America on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 13, 2023. A physical version of the game will follow shortly after that, on November 30.
