This November, gamers around the world will be able to step into the expansive world of Gothic II Complete Classic with the release of the game on the Nintendo Switch. Developed by Piranha Bytes and published by THQ Nordic, this action-RPG is a re-imagining of the beloved classic that fans of the series will undoubtedly enjoy.
Players pick up the fight that was left off in Gothic I as they join the nameless hero in his next mission – to save the world from imminent chaos brought about by the villains of the Valley of Mines, who have been freed from imprisonment. With the help of King Rhobar II’s faithful paladins, the hero will face off against fierce Orcs, and embark on over 100 thrilling missions through different beautiful and vibrant settings.
Gothic II also includes the Night of the Raven add-on, allowing players to explore the expansive region of Jharkendar, and find unique new weapons and spells to use against their enemies. With over 500 individual characters – each with their own daily routine – the amount of activities and challenges to take on are nearly limitless.
For those items best left in the past, the player can even determine the course of the story completely by themselves.
