Experience a world of mystery and magic in Dolphin Spirit – Ocean Mission! Microids and French developer Magic Pockets have unveiled the gameplay features players will get to explore on the beautiful oceanic island of Maupiroa. In a series of four short videos, participants are taken on an immersive educational journey, where they can discover the hidden secrets and mysterious realms of the island.
The mysterious island of Maupiroa has a wealth of secrets hidden beneath its enchanting veneer. Players on their mission to save the island from destruction will navigate their way through the magical totems of their ancestors, take part in conservation missions and explore the untouched marine ecosystem.
They’ll have the opportunity to discover the rich underwater flora and fauna by diving into a fascinating codex which can be completed with images and recordings of the island’s wildlife.
But navigating the waters of Maupiroa won’t be easy. With the help of their trusty sidekick, Keanu the Dolphin, players will learn to use their powers to protect endangered marine life, and help the local association with their conservation tasks.
With the help of professionals from Cetasea, an organisation that works to create a European network of marine mammal refuges, players can be guaranteed of game accuracy. Being able to learn about the importance of marine habitat conservation, while exploring a world of mystery and magic makes Dolphin Spirit – Ocean Mission a unique and interesting experience.
Dolphin Spirit – Ocean Mission will be available in Europe from September 28th, 2023 (retail and digital) and in North America from October 17th on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch for retail versions, and on digital for Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
