The action-packed Beat’em Up will be available digitally in North America on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC November 30, 2023.
Join Asterix and Obelix as they embark on their most thrilling adventure yet. Get ready to take down enemies and unleash your strength, either solo or in local co-op, as the two heroes travel to Lutetia to investigate after the Aquila of Lutetia is stolen, and an innocent man is thrown in jail. Each stage of the journey offers new environments, and of course, plenty of slaps in the faces of enemies.
To further level up the action, the game features new specific moves they can charge up, dynamic battles, more fearsome enemies and bosses, as well as the ability to trigger a Fury mode and an Ultimate attack.
All visuals in Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All 2! were created “by hand” by the developers at Mr Nutz Studio in order to transport players faithfully to the world of the Asterix comic books. Characters, backgrounds and animations look exactly like in the original illustrations, and even the plot is loyal to the original stories.
The action-packed game pays homage to the comics in an extraordinary way, all under the watchful eye of the Les Editions Albert René teams.
