The world is about to be saved! Murtop, a fast-paced arcade game reminiscent of the classic ’80s games Dig Dug and Bomberman, is set to launch on both Nintendo Switch and Steam on May 18th.
Developed by @hiulit and published by Flynn’s Arcade, Murtop will feature 256 single-screen time-limited stages and a “kill screen” that will surely test player’s skills.
Murtop will also include five fast-paced chiptune tracks, a local high score leaderboard, and options to optimize the game for arcade cabinet machines. Players can also enjoy the beautiful 16 color palette and pixel perfect scaling, as well as a CRT filter, attract mode, and TATE mode that will rotate the screen to play the game as intended.
The game will be released in English and is rated E for everyone. It will be available on the Nintendo US, EU, and Japan eShops, as well as Steam, for 4,99€/$, 4,99£, with a 20% discount for the first week of release.
