NACON and Passtech Games have unveiled the first gameplay video for Ravenswatch, a cooperative roguelite game inspired by famous tales and legends from all over the world. Developed by the studio behind the widely acclaimed game Curse of the Dead Gods, Ravenswatch asks those who dare to confront the hordes of Nightmares, which are corrupting the world of Reverie.

The Ravenswatch game follows the fallen heroes of old folk tales and legends, such as Little Red Riding Hood, the Pied Piper of Hamelin, Beowulf, Snow Queen, Aladdin and Melusine, as they join forces to save the world of Reverie from the Nightmares. Each character has its own unique abilities, weapons, and fighting styles. For example, Scarlet can wield two daggers during the day and transform into a bloodthirsty beast at night, while Franz can weaken enemies from range with his instrument-controlled rats.
Ravenswatch will be available on Steam on 6 April 2023 as an Early Access title, and will be released on PC, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch™ in 2024. It will feature a total of 10 characters and three chapters, as well as procedurally generated environments, meta-progression, upgrades, an extensive enemy bestiary, quests, missions, bosses and loot.
