When life gives you a raw deal, it’s time to up the ante!
Originally released in 2021 for PC, Cardful Planning is a unique action puzzle game that casts the player in the role of a brave playing card on a quest to rescue the love of their life from the clutches of the evil boss “The Bad Hand” by traversing multiple levels and using numerous abilities acquired along the way.
“Cardful Planning has been a labour of love for the past few months,” said James Martin, founder and lead developer at Walk Home Games. “Developing the Nintendo Switch version was great fun and allowed me to add more levels and address player feedback I’d received from the PC version.”
“As soon as I saw Cardful Planning I was adamant that we needed to bring the game to Nintendo Switch,” explains Thalamus founder and CEO Andy Roberts. “With its bite-sized levels and intimate gameplay, it’s simply perfect for the platform. It’s a unique action puzzler that I know players are going to love.”
Cardful Planning features over 100 levels set across five zones, Chill, Speedrun, and Fewest Death modes, four different suit abilities to unlock and master, online leaderboards, and a retro-inspired 8-bit aesthetic.
Cardful Planning is available to pre-order from April 18, 2022 (with a 50% pre-order discount for early birds) and launches officially on April 29,2022.
