Induction

Induction launching on Nintendo Switch 14th July, pre-orders open now

Timeline-twisting puzzle game Induction will be leaping onto Nintendo Switch on 14th July, and is available to pre-order now with a 30% discount from the regular price of $8.99.

Induction’s minimalist visuals and meditative soundtrack disguise a deceptively rich inner logic that allows you to explore the paradoxical consequences of time travel. Its puzzles will guide you through a series of temporal epiphanies – first asking you to simply jump through time and cooperate with your past self, then ultimately asking you to rewire how you think about cause and effect.

Induction is the abstracted essence of the best of time travel fiction, capturing the vertiginous feeling of boundaries between past, present and future falling away.

Developer Bryan Gale is an alumni of Swedish game accelerator program Stugan, with the idyllic countryside of Dalarna County providing the perfect setting for contemplating time travel and its many paradoxes. Exhibited as part of the Indie Megabooth at PAX East, Induction drew the attention of electronic composer and radio broadcaster Tim Shiel (Duet, The Gardens Between), whose dynamic ambient soundtrack accompanies you as you learn to think across multiple timelines.
