Rough Justice: '84

Crime Under the Christmas Tree – Rough Justice: ’84 Releases on December 20th

Take care of wannabe gangsters and high-tier syndicate bosses in this dark and stylish neon-noir detective management game

Are you ready to take down the criminal underworld? Get your trench coat and detective hat on as Rough Justice: ’84 is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on December 20th.

Developed by Gamma Minus and published by Daedalic Entertainment, Rough Justice: ’84 is the perfect mix of strategy, neon-noir and gritty detective gaming.

This moment-to-moment gameplay is inspired by tabletop board games like chess, complete with dice, cards and puzzles. You’ll be taking control of ex-cop Jim Baylor, managing an up-and-coming security agency and cleaning up the crime-ridden streets of Seneca City.

But as you progress, you’ll soon uncover the city’s dark secrets and uncover a neo-Nazi organization that holds the city in its grip.

The team at Gamma Minus, many of whom have had personal experience with the sensitive topics covered in the game, put their hearts and souls into their vision of a decade full of liberation and economic growth, but also political extremes, toxic ideologies and oppression.

You can dive deeper into the thought process behind it through interviews with the developers that were conducted by Twitch Streamer CozyGamerKat.

But the 80s Synthwave soundtrack isn’t the only thing that will get you in the atmosphere. The cool neon graphics and fun characters are sure to make your detective experience stand out from the rest.

So what are you waiting for?

Rough Justice: ’84 launches on December 20th, so suit up and help save Seneca City from its fate. For more details, make sure to check out the official Steam page.
