Today marks the release of the long-awaited hand-drawn graphic novel adventure Monster Loves You Too! from the award-winning Dejobaan Games and Radial Games. The sequel to their best-selling 2013 title, Monster Loves You!, this captivating game transports players to the city of Asch, a monster metropolis, where they will have to struggle to survive.
Players are born in the city of Asch, hungry and alone, and will have to navigate the back streets in search of food and shelter. Similar to all the other monsters in Asch, players will be plagued by vicious instincts that seek to take over. Greed, malice, and docility are just some of the temptations they will have to confront.
But players represent an unexpected branch in monster evolution, with reserves of brains, guts, and flesh, which they can expend to overcome their base instincts. The game allows them to make friends, form alliances, and take part in political intrigues that keep monsterkind from clawing its way out of the pit of brutality.
The developers have also included a robust aging system, which “brings the story to life by letting players age, grow wise, and start their own offspring”. This interactive experience makes Monster Loves You Too! a truly unique game.
Fans of the original Monster Loves You! can expect the same fun and exciting gameplay and narrative as before. Players can explore the wilderness, break out of the slums, assemble their own gang, and learn to use their strength and wits to survive in the unforgiving world of Asch.
