The racing world is revving its engine with a new twist on the classic party racer with the recently released Make Way. Players get together and build their own unique tracks, with each race adding more mischief and mayhem. Not only that, but the Steam version is part of this year’s Jingle Jam charity event.
Developed by Mesu Games, Make Way introduces a distinctive and chaotic cross-play party to Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Players get to the track with a random selection of track pieces and hazards which they have to construct on the fly. They’ll race online or locally using adjustable chaos levels and customisable rules, with up to four players battling it out for first place.
After the race is done and the winner has been declared, players can build more tracks and battle again. There are weapons to be fought for, and new track pieces and vehicles to be unlocked. Each course is unique and gives racers an unpredictably thrilling experience with plenty of action-packed moments.
The Steam version of Make Way is even better, as it’s part of the Jingle Jam 2023 charity event. This annual event brings together gamers and the gaming industry to raise funds for 12 different charities, with over 70 games and £1,100 worth of content included in the collection.
