Untold Tales is proud to announce the release of What The Duck, an action-adventure RPG developed by Brazilian Seize Studios. The game can be played on both PC platforms via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as Nintendo Switch through the Nintendo eShop starting from today.
What The Duck follows the story of an unlikely protagonist: a person who, unlike everyone around them, can control a spirit animal – a duck. Set out on a quest of revenge and self-acceptance that will take you through the world where powerful spirit animals reign, while you and your duckling companion seek to make a name for yourselves.
As you traverse the game’s four unique biomes, you will encounter characters, receive quests, collect resources, solve puzzles, engage enemies in combat, and upgrade your inventory and powers. Weave together a combination of weapons for the most powerful attacks against your foes, and summon your duckling friend for assistance with its unique moves.
The crafting mini-game will let you create stronger weapons through a rhythm-based system. The stronger the rhythm, the greater the weapon. Your duckling friend can also fly, swim, solve puzzles, access unreachable places and reveal secrets – so make sure to make use of this asset!
