Hammerwatch II will be Available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on Dec. 12
Modus Games and Crackshell have some good news for classic roguelike fans – Hammerwatch II is on its way to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 on Dec.12 for $24.99. Followers of the critically acclaimed Hammerwatch series have been looking forward to the game’s release since it debuted on PC earlier in 2020, and Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 4 versions are set to arrive in 2021.
Today’s news was accompanied by a new trailer showcasing a sneak peek of what console players can expect when Hammerwatch II launches next month, including a never-before-seen look at the greatest evil you’ll face on your heroic journey.
But that’s not all, as alongside the launch of Hammerwatch II comes a remastered version of the original Hammerwatch, as well as the chance to get your hands on the Hammerwatch II: The Chronicles Edition. The bundle will be available for purchase for $39.99 and contains the following:
- Hammerwatch II
- The remastered original Hammerwatch Anniversary Edition
- Additional character color palettes, facial items and voice packs
You assume the role of a hero who is chosen by the dethroned King Roland to save Hammer Island from Blight the Horrible and his dragon army. With five playable character classes – Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Wizard and Warlock – to choose from, you can create your own Hero and customize their look and abilities before setting off on your epic quest.
Your journey will take you through the Fallowfields, past the dark, mountainous regions of Blackbarrow and beyond as you look to restore King Roland’s kingdom. As you progress, you will unlock new abilities and skills, build your Herian Hero and join forces with your closest warrior allies or explore on your own.
