Spirittea

Spirittea, our Spirited Away-inspired life sim, is coming on November 13

No More Robots and Cheesemaster Games are thrilled to announce that the dreamy life sim Spirittea is coming to Xbox and PC Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on November 13. Taking inspiration from iconic life sim Stardew Valley and Studio Ghibli classic Spirited Away, the game follows a writer who has fled to the countryside in the hopes of finding inspiration for their next novel.

However, after accidentally drinking from an old teapot, our protagonist discovers the spirit world is overlapping with their reality. Wonyan, a nuisance cat spirit and faithful guide, then shows our writer how many spirits need saving — and hands over the keys to an old bathhouse, where spirits go to relax.

Spirittea is a life sim, management game, and detective game rolled into one. Players must take part in activities like bug catching and karaoke in order to survive, while also helping out spirits which they come across. The spirits then come to your bathhouse, which you’ll need to upgrade with new rooms and furniture in order to attract more, including the elusive Lord Spirits who take up an entire room each.

The game releases on November 13th on PC, Game Pass and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are available now, and those who pre-order will get a special bonus. Fans of life sims, Studio Ghibli, and spirits alike will be eager to check out Spirittea
