The Traitor’s Tomb” Update adds new area, weapons, bosses, and PvP arena on PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch
Are you ready for epic battles and heroic battle for penance? Get ready for Salt and Sacrifice, the follow up platformer to the million-plus selling soulslike title Salt and Sanctuary. As Corrupted Mages terrorize the realm of Altarstone Kingdom, it’s up to Marked Inquisitors to take up hunt in order to both purify the Kingdom and seek redemption.
Set to launch on Steam (Deck playable, with Verification planned for launch) and Nintendo Switch on Wednesday, November 7, 2023, Salt and Sacrifice promises to offer an expansive and challenging action RPG experience for players. Select from one of eight character classes and build a combat style that suits you.
Utilize imposing greatswords, duel wielding strikes, or even sling sorcery. Defeat Corrupted Mages and loot their bodies for flesh and bones to craft new weapons and armor.
Take on Altarstone Kingdom alone or call upon another Marked Inquisitor to join you in cooperative hunting with the added cross-play support between all platforms. Join numerous factions in both PvE and PvP engagements such as the Shroud Alliance.
But that’s not where it ends, as a free update, “The Traitor’s Tomb” will also launch on November 7. This update adds an even larger map size with 20% increase, and an intriguing new dungeon. Encounter NPCs, face off against five new bosses, and collect new armor sets and weapons including the massive Lawbringer whip-sword. Additionally, the update also introduces a new arena mode for 6-player PvP matchups.
Salt and Sacrifice will launch on Nintendo Switch and Steam this Wednesday, November 7th for USD 19.99. The game is also available on PlayStation 5|4 and Epic Games Store in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Chinese and Japanese. “The Traitor’s Tomb” update will be available on all supported platforms in the same languages, free of charge.
