Forever Entertainment S.A. and Developer Storm Trident S.A. is proud to announce Front Mission 2: Remake, the remake of the classic tactical role-playing game, Front Mission 2, is finally making its way to Nintendo Switch on October 5th, 2023, sporting a retail price of €34,99/ $34.99.
The second game in the main Front Mission storyline, Front Mission 2: Unleash the Fury, was originally released only in Japan in 1997. This remake preserves the strategic turn-based combat, mature story, and Wanzer customization options of the original, while also introducing some new features and enhancements. Players can expect improved loading speed, support for many new languages, a free camera option to zoom in during gameplay and check out Wanzers in detail, new coloring and camouflage options, modern in-game effects, and a renewed soundtrack.
The story of Front Mission 2: Remake has been updated for a modern audience, set in the aftermath of the second Huffman conflict, where the People’s Republic of Alordesh has been suffering a severe economic decline since the war ended. A band of O.C.U. soldiers led by Ash must try to escape the country while contending with the growing conspiracy of the Alordesh Army and the Revolutionary Army.
You’ll need to make use of different strategies as you switch perspectives between three different characters: Ash, Lisa, and Thomas, as you explore the complex world of Front Mission and its story.
