Aussie-Made Puzzler Side Decide Comes to Switch This Week

Roll wooden blocks while matching the shapes in this relaxing puzzle game

Blue Volcano Studio is excited to announce the launch of their puzzle game Side Decide, coming to Nintendo Switch on August 3rd. Side Decide is a challenging yet relaxing puzzle game that revolves around rolling wooden blocks with matching shapes to the end of the level.

Created and developed by solo developer Brendan Votano, Side Decide is the result of four years of ‘side’ work and an idea that germinated close to eight years ago. With 121 levels, 363 stars to collect, and gold, silver, and bronze star ratings for each level, this game provides a complete package for players of all ages.

Side Decide has the player roll a wooden cube to the end of the level, with the shape on the side of the cube required to match up with the upcoming space.

In addition, the game has 10 different block types each with its own unique mechanics such as teleporting, wildcard, and falling blocks which all help to provide greater challenge.

The game features simple and pleasing wooden block art, combined with calming music that is designed to adapt to the player’s progress. Upon its release on August 3rd, Side Decide will cost US$6.99, AUD$9.99, EUR 7,99€.
