Make Way

Make Way builds its own road to PC and consoles in 2023

Cross-platform multiplayer “DIY racer” lets players piece together ever-growing tracks, then scramble to knock each other off

Keep your friends close, and your roof-mounted Tesla coil closer because Ice Beam and Secret Mode have just announced Make Way – a chaotic multiplayer racing game that’s launching in 2023. Make Way is the perfect game for racers who want unlimited options and players to challenge.

In Make Way, up to four players will battle it out in weapon-filled, round-based races. The twist? Players will need to construct the track together, using a random selection of pieces and hazards such as track crossings, loop-de-loops and seesaws to create a unique and increasingly wild raceway every round.

Players will be able to enjoy Make Way in both local or online multiplayer with cross-play across all platforms.

Tom Goodchild, a 20-year veteran in the games industry with extensive experience with racing games, is leading Ice Beam’s development on Make Way.

With the addition of new track pieces and hazards steadily unlocked, and customisable rulesets making matches slightly easier or more chaotic, no two races will ever be alike.

So grab your friends or rivals and get ready for the race of your life! Get ready for Make Way, launching on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and Nintendo Switch in 2023!
