The fast-paced 2D Beat’em Up game immerses players in the imaginative world of René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, inviting them to face off against enemies and unleash their strength solo or in local cooperation. Developed by Mr Nutz Studio and supervised by the teams of Les Editions Albert René to guarantee respect of the Asterix essence, the new episode of the beloved franchise is set to launch in November 2023 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! 2 players will join Asterix and Obelix on a quest to save an innocent man imprisoned for a theft he did not commit. Along the way, they will explore a multitude of captivating locations, from mysterious ruins to an imposing Roman camp, encountering thrilling encounters and generously helping of slaps in the face! The experience is enhanced by a host of new features and gameplay improvements, providing them with new specific moves to charge up for even more powerful attacks. Additionally, they can unleash their Fury mode to increase their strength and an Ultimate attack to create chaos in the environment.
The game is developed with a traditional 2D animation and a faithful visual universe, reminiscent of the marvellous illustrations in the Asterix and Obelix comic books, appealing to fans of the franchise and fans of retro games.
