The long-awaited entry in TAITO’s Puzzle Bobble series, Puzzle Bobble Everybubble!, is set to release on the 23rd of May for Nintendo Switch, both digitally and physically. With nostalgic fans in mind, ININ Games has made the original SNES version of Puzzle Bobble (Japanese) and Bust-A-Move (US) available for separate download at launch, for a price of Euro 7,99.
Players can join the brothers Bub and Bob on their bubble-bursting adventure in this classic action-puzzle game. Connect three or more bubbles of the same color to remove them from the field and progress. The new title is more voluminous than the previous ones in the series and introduces a few features for the first time, such as the ability to play with up to four players in Story Mode and 2vs2 team battles in Local battles.
For those who want to take their bubble-popping skills online, Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! also features 1vs1 battles against players from all around the world, as well as the ability to play online with friends with the “Password Matching” function. Those who wish to participate in online play will need a (paid) subscription to “Nintendo Switch Online.”
The game also includes “PUZZLE BOBBLE VS SPACE INVADERS,” a collaborative mini-game to commemorate the 45th anniversary of SPACE INVADERS!
