Dive into Poirot’s exciting new adventure in the heart of London!
Today, Microids is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated sequel of Hercule Poirot: The First Cases with the video game Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The London Case. Developed by the award-winning Blazing Griffin studio, the team responsible for the BAFTA Scotland’s Best Game Award in 2022, the detective adventure game is set for release on a variety of gaming platforms in Summer 2023.
The brand-new mystery written by the award-winning team introduces players to the great detective’s beloved sidekick, Arthur Hastings. Together, they have been assigned the task of transporting a priceless artwork to London. However, their mission soon becomes derailed as they are tasked with solving a completely new case in the heart of the city.
Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The London Case will offer an exciting gameplay experience, true to the style and tone of Agatha Christie, as players explore the capital, search for clues, interview suspects and witnesses, and ultimately solve the mystery. The game will feature a new match puzzle system to help identify inconsistencies during interrogations, first person inspection puzzles for a more cinematic view of the scenes, and various mindmaps and character profiles to draw the correct links needed to solve the case.
The environment and audio have also been enhanced for more depth and life in the isometric game scenes across London, and a fully voiced script in English, French and German will bring the story to life.
Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The London Case will be available in Summer 2023 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, in physical and digital editions.
