TEAM17 DIGITAL DROPS THE NEEDLE ON A 1ST JUNE LAUNCH FOR UPCOMING BLACK COMEDY SLASHER-ADVENTURE ‘KILLER FREQUENCY’

First-person black comedy thriller set in a small-town US radio station takes to the airwaves this summer on PC and consoles.

Today Team17 Digital announced that its upcoming black comedy slasher-adventure, Killer Frequency, will be available on Steam, Meta Quest 2, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox on June 1st.

Don’t touch that dial! Tune into a freaky new release date announcement trailer.

In Killer Frequency, players take control of Forrest Nash, a washed-up DJ and presenter of the ‘The Scream’ late night show. Set during the 1980s in a Midwestern US town, Forrest must use a variety of conversation options to interact with callers while listening carefully for clues and information. Players must also solve puzzles around the studio that could help prevent the grisly demise of the callers.

Killer Frequency features an authentic 1980s radio studio, where players must take calls from potential victims while gathering clues, making decisions, and solving puzzles. Players must also interact with a variety of larger-than-life personalities and jam to a jukebox of 1980s-inspired tunes.

Killer Frequency is being developed internally by Team17 Digital and will launch on June 1st for PC, Meta Quest 2, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox.
