Today, Nintendo announced the launch of a special edition of the Nintendo Switch – OLED Model system, which features a special design from the upcoming game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The special edition system will launch on April 28, and comes with a suggested retail price of $359.99. The special edition features the familiar Hylian Crest from the Legend of Zelda series on the front of the dock.
In addition, two accessories will also be released on May 12 to coincide with the launch of the game: a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and a Nintendo Switch carrying case, both with designs from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The new hardware and accessories are now available to pre-order.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, an epic adventure across the land and skies of Hyrule. In this game, players will have to harness the power of Link’s new abilities to fight against the malevolent forces that threaten the kingdom.
