Akira and Furi Inspired Boss-Rush Game Gripper Coming in March 2023

Gripping and Ripping its Way to Release

Today, developer Heart Core LTD. has announced the release date for their story-driven cyberbike action game, Gripper. Players will soon be able to enter the burnout seat of their very own cyberbike and race through a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk setting to save the world from the mysterious AI known as Zero.

Gripper is set to launch for 19.99 USD on March 29, 2023 for Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.

Gripper follows the journey of None, a cyber biker who is jolted back into his parents’ lives and forced to save the world. Players have the help of their childhood stuffed animal, turned mechanized cat buddy, Kat-Kit, to help upgrade their bike and tear apart intimidating bosses of all shapes and sizes.

Gripper is brought to life by a talented development team whose credits include Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Atomic Heart and Rainbow Six Siege.

Players can experience a taste of Gripper right now via the demo that is available on Windows PC. Gripper includes family-oriented storytelling, cyberbike grappling hook boss battles, post-apocalyptic cyberpunk biomes, intense tunnel riding tracks, and an entrancing blend of visual splendor and synth beat sounds.

“We’re thrilled to finally announce the release date for Gripper and to be so close to sharing the excitement and emotional experience with players around the world,” said Heart Core LTD co-founder Kirill Zolovkin. “Our love for Akira and games like Furi and Hyper Light Drifter helped inspire Gripper, along with my experience working through the loss of my mother. We thank you all for supporting us so far and are looking forward to sharing the full weight of Gripper later this month.”
