Defy the Gods on an Epic Adventure Capturing the Look and Feel of ‘90s Action RPGs
XSEED Games and FuRyu have announced that the upcoming action-RPG, Trinity Trigger, will release simultaneously worldwide on April 25, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as Windows PC via Steam and GoG.

The game was developed by FuRyu and features a star-studded group of RPG developers, including worldbuilding artist Yuki Nobuteru (Trials of Mana), character designer Raita Kazama (Xenoblade), scenario writer Yura Kubota (OCTOPATH TRAVELER), and composer Hiroki Kikuta (Secret of Mana, Trials of Mana).
In Trinity Trigger, the player takes control of three young heroes as they attempt to defy fate and save the continent of Trinitia. Accompanying them are the Triggers, strange creatures with the unique ability to transform into eight types of weapons that players must master if they hope to be successful on their quest.
Players will explore diverse biomes and dungeons, strategize to exploit enemy weaknesses, and change their destiny.
The game features an accessible and rewarding gameplay that incorporates modern flourishes to make it an exciting new adventure. Players can solve puzzles and defeat enemies alone or with up to two friends via local co-op.
The Weapon Wheel allows players to change between eight weapon types on the fly, making expert use of the weapon types to exploit enemy weaknesses and gain an edge in battle.
Trinity Trigger has been rated “E10+” for everyone age 10 and up by the ESRB and will launch in North America on April 25th, 2023. Players can find more information about the game on its dedicated website, www.trinitytriggergame.com.
