Celebrate world music and compose your own tunes in the space-themed music puzzle game Rytmos, launching today on Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Epic Games
Today, Floppy Club announces the release of their new game, Rytmos, a world music-themed puzzle game, now available on Steam, Epic Games and Nintendo Switch. Players are invited to go on an interplanetary adventure, solving puzzles as they explore and build their own musical compositions in real-time.
Rytmos takes inspiration from a range of global music genres, including Germany’s 70s electronic scene, 1960s Ethiopian Jazz and 8-bit gaming wave. Players are rewarded with instruments to make their own music, including a Kalimba, electric guitar, and electric synthesiser.
The game also offers an interactive way to educate and inspire people on the history of music. With a focus on relaxing gameplay, Rytmos delivers a meditative experience full of lightbulb moments and head-bobbing soundtracks.
A partner website for the game is also available, offering free playlists of in-game music as well as music theory and history. A mobile version of the game is set to launch later in the year.
