Gravity Game Arise Co., Ltd. (located in Chuo-ku, Tokyo) is proud to announce the release date of the strategic tactical RPG “Live By The Sword: Tactics” has been decided as Friday, October 28, 2022.
Strategic Tactical RPG: “Live By The Sword: Tactics”
Live by the Sword is a new STRPG with a modern twist on the classic formula. We do not have levels, experience, or equipment in our game. Classes have a pool of abilities and traits to choose from, players customize their team in this way. This allows the tackling of challenging fights without the need to grind to clear the encounter.
Live by the Sword: Tactics has a variety of game modes.
“Story Mode” tells the tale of two brothers Edgar and William, who embark on an adventure to save their struggling kingdom from being swallowed by the darkness of war yet again. Fight dangerous foes and deadly enemies as you unravel a devious plot.
“Adventure Mode” where you build the continent of Orlia as you see fit.
Arrange locations on the map as you progress through harder and harder encounters. In Adventure Mode death is permanent but fear not as you can recruit new characters and purchase items from the local pub to assist you in battle. Adventure Mode will see major updates in the coming months.
“Tactician Mode”, test your tactical skills as you attempt to clear unique challenges.
Think you’ve mastered all that LBTS has to offer? Then put your money where your mouth is as you take on unique encounters doing your best to complete them in the least number of moves possible. Tactician Mode will see additional challenges added in the coming months.
If you’ve ever wanted to engage in tactical combat with a friend, you can now! Face off against friends in local and online multiplayer. Choose to engage in either 5v5 or 3v3 battles and see how good you really are. Ranked Online coming in December.
This is only the beginning. LBTS will continue to receive updates that improves upon the game, adding new classes, Tactician fights, Adventure Mode updates, Board Builder, Ranked Online and many more. Early Access was a success and now we are dedicated to making full launch just as good. Our trend of open communication and clear update schedules will continue into the future.
