Celebrate five million downloads of this charming puzzle game and recruit some new Pokémon staffers.
The recently released Pokémon Café Mix for Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android devices has been downloaded five million times worldwide! To celebrate, all players will receive bonus items by logging into the game between 11:00 p.m. PST on August 16, 2020, and 10:59 p.m. PST on August 29, 2020. During this time, you can get 5,000 golden acorns and three each of the Whistle ↔ and Whistle ↕ puzzle powers.
Your café will also see Grookey appear as a special customer from August 11, 2020, to August 25, 2020 (subject to change). If you serve up orders for Grookey during the event and strengthen your friendship with it enough, it will join you as a staff Pokémon.
In addition to Grookey’s limited-time appearance, you can also expect to see other Pokémon stopping by your café. Be on the lookout for visits from Wobbuffet, Buizel, and Audino. Like other Pokémon customers, serving them enough delicious dishes will convince them to come work at your café. And we’ve heard tell that the Mythical Pokémon Celebi might looking to grab a snack at some point in the future.
