Nintendo of America recently published a list of the “best-selling games on the Nintendo Switch system released in 2018” as they say, while detailing it’s based on the top downloads on Nintendo eShop and Nintendo.com of “full titles released in 2018”. So, let’s take a look at the yearly ranking for the Americas! The chart is based on the amount of downloads each title generated with no distinction between paid items and free-to-play titles, as Fortnite shows up at the top, followed by the surprising Fallout Shelter at 2nd and Paladins at 3rd. NPD Group: Total Industry Consumer Spending on Video Games in U.S. Increases 24 Percent to $9.1 Billion in the Third Quarter of 2018

Super Mario Party, but also Dark Souls Remastered and Mega Man 11… A few new titles made the latest ranking, and others went up due to having a month full of good deals. It’s time for the Americas to show which games sold the most in the past month. Thus, let’s take a look at the most downloaded titles in the past month in the Americas (period of reference: August 1st – August 31st).
