ZOO GAMES Announces Release Date for Akatsuki: Lord of the Dawn on Steam and Nintendo Switch!
Fans of 2D pixel art games have been eagerly awaiting the release of ZOO GAMES’ latest creation, Akatsuki: Lord of the Dawn. The wait is almost over as the game is set to launch on March 28, 2024. And to celebrate this much-anticipated release, the game will be available at a 20% discount on both Steam and Nintendo Switch!
ZOO GAMES, known for their previous 2D pixel art games Rogue Explorer and Mystic Gate, has once again captured the retro atmosphere in their newest game, Akatsuki: Lord of the Dawn. This time, players will embark on a journey to bring peace and stability to a world ravaged by the war between man and the demon king.
The game follows the story of Ark Badona, a newly appointed lord in the kingdom of Krenian. Under the rule of King OdorianIV, Ark must rid his region, The Land of Dawn, of the remnants of the demon king’s armies. With a variety of characters to choose from, players must strategically use battle formations and techniques to bring down their enemies in this real-time battle RPG.
But Akatsuki: Lord of the Dawn is not just about battles and quests. Players also have the task of rebuilding their lands and economy. Build facilities, gather materials, and research powerful weapons and armor to strengthen your troops. And don’t forget to train your convoy characters to secure victory in battle!
The game will be available in English and Japanese at launch, but ZOO GAMES has also announced that they will be adding Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Spanish languages in updates after the release.
