SEGA has some exciting news for fans of the popular anime and manga series Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba-: Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! is launching on April 26th of 2024 for Nintendo Switch!
Developed by Aniplex and physical editions available for pre-order now, the game invites players to put their skills to the test in a strategic board game-style environment that brings the world of the beloved franchise to life.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! features iconic locations from the anime, including the Tsuzumi Mansion and Mount Natagumo, and tasks the players with minigames inspired by the content, team memory matching, and Knock ‘Em Out! Chanbara Swordplay, among others. Players can also choose to play as their favorite characters from the show, including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the nine Hashira.
The game truly brings the Demon Slayer world to life with the added ability of taking control of the characters by utilizing Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons, allowing players to virtually “slice” their enemies during battle. There is ample opportunity to draw out players’ strategic minds, as the game is full of turn-based strategies and card-matching.
