Chico and the Magic Orchards DX Brings 8-Bit Adventures to Nintendo Switch
Daikon Games’ debut title Chico and the Magic Orchards DX is now coming to Nintendo Switch! Perfect for nostalgia-seekers, the game takes classic 8-bit handheld titles as its inspiration for an adventure featuring Chico the chipmunk. Players will guide Chico across a giant walnut as he solves puzzles and battles formidable bosses.
The Nintendo Switch release of Chico and the Magic Orchards DX will include 8 distinct worlds, which will stay true to the original PC launch. Players can traverse the main campaign and a challenging post-credits bonus adventure. According to Daikon Games’ CEO, Yoki Toneishi, the Nintendo Switch is the perfect platform for Chico’s story.
“We were very excited to bring Chico and the Magic Orchards DX to PC, but adding Nintendo Switch creates an opportunity for players to experience a game that channels the classic 8-bit era right at their fingertips,” said Toneishi.
Chico and the Magic Orchards DX on Nintendo Switch is scheduled for a December 29th, 2023, release. The game will retail for only $4.99 USD.
