Farming Simulator Kids: GIANTS Software & John Deere Announce Farming-Fun for Children

GIANTS Software and John Deere have announced Farming Simulator Kids – an upcoming game bringing the farming universe to life for a younger audience. With cute graphics and plenty of interactive activities, the title will be available for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices as of Spring 2024.

Farming Simulator Kids encourages the little ones to explore farm locations, caring for adorable animals such as cows, chickens, and geese. By using prestigious John Deere machines, they can plant and harvest a variety of crops according to their neighbours’ needs.

Young players can also find out the value of the produce they grow and care for through a visit to their own farmers’ market. There’s a variety of mini-games in Farming Simulator Kids to enjoy, such as gardening and sandwich-making, plus the player can trade items at a swap shop or create delicious food from their produce.

Aside from operating machines and harvesting crops, kids can capture their own farming stories with a video creator mode. Credits go to Thomas Frey, Creative Director at GIANTS Software, who is delighted to introduce children to farming in a safe, playful environment.

“We are creating an educational and unforgettable farming game for young players,” said Frey. “We hope it will nurture children’s general interests in farming and the production of food.”

Stefan Mügge, Manager Marketing Communication at John Deere, added: “It is a pleasure to support such an appealing project that awakens children’s interest in agriculture through play. We are looking forward to seeing their reactions.”

Farming Simulator Kids is set to be released for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices in Spring 2024. Visit the official Farming Simulator website for more information.
