In Kona II Brume players will step into Detective Carl Faubert’s shoes and uncover the secrets of a rural Canadian mining village in the 1970s. A strange mist – the Brume – has descended upon the village, isolating it and disrupting nature, and the player must use their wit and detective skills to battle nature and find the truth behind the fog.
Kona II Brume is the follow up to the award-winning Kona, and its innovative story-telling made with an in-depth level of detail creates a gripping and captivating atmosphere. Players will visit the abandoned houses, listen to the storyteller’s narration and inspect objects and documents to try and uncover the secrets of the mist.
When playing as Detective Carl Faubert players will have to piece together the fragments of information they collect to unravel the mystery of the Brume, while also fighting for their survival against the cold and the dangerous wildlife of Manastan. To do this, they can utilize Carl’s trusty dog sled to traverse between locales, and investigate the nearby shacks for clues.
Kona II Brume will be releasing on 18 October simultaneously on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). Players will be captivated by the vast and detailed environments of Manastan and engrossed in the mystery of the Brume
