DANGEN Entertainment is thrilled to announce the upcoming console launch of Abomi Nation, a fun, monster-taming roguelite game developed by Orange Pylon Games. Gamers can look forward to added challenges and customization when the game is released on Nintendo Switch and Xbox digital stores on September 28th, 2023.
Abomi Nation, inspired by the ‘Nuzlocke’ challenge, is designed to encourage replayability and customization. Every run of the game is a unique experience, with the island of Abomi Nation transforming each time. Players can unlock new forms, explore different areas, and access items as they progress.
At the heart of the game is a turn-based combat system, where mastering elements, strengths and weaknesses of enemies is crucial for success. With over 175 ‘Abomis’ to befriend, players can create their dream team, each member possessing unique abilities and charms.
The bond between Abomis will affect how they react to different situations. Players can increase team stats with minigames and activities. Additionally, they are able to customize their playthrough as per their preference, with options for the thrill of permadeath or a more relaxed adventure.
The game also brings back beloved characters from DANGEN Entertainment’s titles, Bug Fables: The Last Sapling and Disc Creatures, sure to be a nostalgic delight for fans. Pre-orders for Abomi Nation on Nintendo Switch begin on September 7th.
