Just For Games and Little Sewing Machine, in collaboration with Meangrip Studios, have unveiled early gameplay footage of the classic-animation horror game Bye Sweet Carole. This Pre-Alpha footage is already showing a vivid and engaging horror adventure with a mysterious backdrop, filled with dark creatures, vibrant characters, and transforming rabbits.

In Bye Sweet Carole, you will accompany a young protagonist, Lana Benton, as she journeys through a mysterious enchanted garden, infested by wild rabbits, and a 19th century orphanage to reveal the whereabouts of a missing girl, Carole Simmons. Make an effort to tread carefully and master the shape-shifting ability of Lana to enable her to solve complex challenges.
The creative director, Chris Darril, is famous for the Remothered series, and it looks like he is hell-bent on making Bye Sweet Carole a perfect blend of exceptional horror and unforgettable animation. For this reason, each of the in-game character’s animation comprises over 70,000 individual hand-made frames and motion capture. In addition, fans will be able to get full immersion with both Italian and English voice acting upon release.
Fans of horror and animation alike will be able to look forward to Bye Sweet Carole‘s release in 2024 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
