SQUARE ENIX Reveals Dark Army Commanders and Thrilling New Trailer
Today marks the start of an exciting new journey for fans of DRAGON QUEST as the pre-order period for Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai has begun! Set to be released for the Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC, this action role-playing video game offers an exciting adventure for players to dive into.
Those who pre-order Infinity Strash will receive exclusive content including a special “Legendary Hero” Dai outfit and the “Hero’s Tutor” Bond Memory to be used in-game. Also unveiled today is a new trailer, featuring five of the Dark Army Commanders who will be standing against our heroes Dai, Popp, Maam and Hyunckel, as they battle monsters and recreate classic showdowns.
The Dark Army Commanders featured in Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai are as follows:
• Dark Commander Hadlar, leader of the Six Legions of the Dark Army, whose combat capabilities include the Hell’s Claw, the Extreme Heat Spell “Kasizz” and other magical based attacks.
• “Beast King” Crocodine, commander of the Furfang Legion, who uses his immense body and Vortex Axe to fight opponents. His “Heat Breath” and “Beast King Anguish Blast” ultimate techniques will also be useful in battle.
• Blizzblaze General Flazzard, leading the Blizzblaze Legion, with the unique ability to manipulate fire and ice with his “Five Finger Detonation Slag” ultimate technique called “Kafrizz”.
• Shadow Vizier Mystvearn, who commands the Shadow Legion. He is an expert in manipulating the Dark Aura, capable of immobilizing his opponents with his “Dark Puppetry Aura Hand” and “Dark Puppetry Aura Decimation Field” attacks.
• Dragon Master General Baran, a Dragon Knight who leads the Dragon Legion. He has the Ultimate Technique “Gigabreak” to take out his opponents with a single apocalyptic attack.
Players will also have to contend with mid-level enemies when playing Infinity Strash, such as the Sky Rider Galdandy, Sea Rider Borahorn and Land Rider Lahart, who are each fierce warriors in their own right.
Digital purchasers of the Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai Standard and Deluxe Editions for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, will not only gain access to exclusive content such as Dai’s special outfit and Bond Memories, but also cosmetic items to outfit Dai’s friends, such as Popp’s “Legendary Mage” outfit, both of Maam’s special outfits and two of Hyunckel’s special outfits.
