Today, ININ Games and TAITO Corporation announced a brand new feature of their upcoming title, Puzzle Bobble Everybubble!, which releases on May 23rd 2023 for Nintendo Switch.
The feature is Baron’s Tower, a new area in the game’s story mode that requires players to clear bubbles that are added infinitely. Baron’s Tower also features global rankings, divided into three levels of difficulty and number of players.
A video featuring the actual gameplay of Baron’s Tower, game details, and a special message from the development staff and the title’s protagonist, Bub, will premiere on Bub’s YouTube channel, from 11:00 am (CET) on the 24th of March.
There will also be an Opening Movie displaying the story behind the game, which can be viewed now.
The first-ever play session of Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! will be held at EVO Japan 2023, at Tokyo Big Sight from the 31st of March to the 2nd of April, and the game’s protagonist, Bub, will be present to take pictures in the first two days.
Puzzle Bobble is an iconic action-puzzle game where two bubble dragons, Bub and Bob, must burst bubbles to progress. Since its 1994 debut, it has seen over 20 series titles, and it remains a popular pastime today.
