Farming Horde Survival game Whispike Survivors Releases on July 20th!
Grimorio of Games announced today that the spin-off game of Sword of the Necromancer, Whispike Survivors, will be available for PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch starting July 20th/August 3rd. This one-of-a-kind combination of horde survivor and farm simulator, originally posted as an April Fools joke, puts players in the shoes of Sword of the Necromancer monsters. As they take control of a Whispike and prepare it for battle, they will have to use its seeds and the ones of their enemies to create hybrids and make them stronger. Whispike Survivors gives monsters the tools to fight against hordes of creatures and make them the strongest. With the seeds that they drop when dying, new Whispikes can be planted in the farmer’s farm and they will grow strong enough to join the fight. Organised by the Pokémon Company International, the online competition is open to Pokémon TCG collectors and enthusiasts in the UK, France and Germany. From the 9th of July 2023 to 8 a.m. BST on 1st September 2023, entrants can submit photos of their collections on the contest website. Every two weeks, a new challenge will be issued for fans to showcase their collections – ranging from Favourite Collections to Coveted Cards to Favourite Pokémon.
- Round 1—Favourite Collection: entrants can show off their favourite Pokémon TCG collections.
- Round 2—Storage & Display: entrants can show off how they store and display their Pokémon TCG collections.
