LEGENDARY CARS CELEBRATED IN WRC 8

Lesquin, France, September 3, 2019 – Legendary cars are making a comeback in WRC 8! In response to overwhelming demand from the community, WRC 8 – the official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship – will feature various cars from WRC’s rich legacy.

Six legendary rally cars that made WRC history as being part of a Manufacturer’s World Rally Championship winning campaign:

*Lancia Stratos                           1974/1975/1976 Champions
*Ford Escort MkII RS1800                  1979 Champions
*Lancia 037                               1983 Champions
*Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evolution      1988/1989/1990/1991/1992 Champions
*VW Polo R WRC                            2013/2014/2015/2016 Champions

Three iconic rally cars that are great examples of the rich variety of cars that are driven in the WRC:

*Lancia Fulvia HF       1972 International Makes' Champions (precursor of WRC)
*Porsche 911 GT3 RS RGT (997)    Iconic Rally GT car
*Proton Iriz R5         First drive of the WRC 2’s newest homologated rally car

Amongst the 9 cars, 7 of them played a major role in the World Rally Championship of their respective eras (more than 150 WRC wins in total). The Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997) is a leading competitor in the RG-T class and the Proton Iriz R5 is exclusively offered to players as it will join the WRC competition next year.

All are available in each game mode in WRC 8. In Career mode, they give players the chance to experience historic events and highlights of the classic rallies of yesteryear. They also offer a different driving experience to modern cars in addition to the specific characteristics of each car. They will all be available at game release. *

The Sinking City Nintendo Switch Gameplay Reveal and Improvements Feature

29 August 2019 | Dublin, Ireland. After the reveal of The Sinking City coming to the Nintendo Switch at this year’s E3 Nintendo Direct, Frogwares has now released the first gameplay footage of the game running on the console.

The official release date for The Sinking City on Switch will be coming next week but Frogwares promise fans the date is sooner rather than later.

“We did our best to optimize the game and ensure it runs at a stable 30 frames throughout. We also improved combat a bit to have more weight and feel. Weapons now have new gunshot sounds, improved recoil and new visual effects. We also did our best to improve the game from people’s feedback. Gun Gun Pixies – Gameplay Trailer Released

PQube and developer Compile Heart are excited to share a new trailer for Gun Gun Pixies they released yesterday! It showcases gameplay of the crazy Japanese third-person-shooter, landing in Europe physically and digitally for Nintendo Switch on September 6th! The game is out digitally in North America on September 10th and physically on November 1st. The PC/Steam version of Gun Gun Pixies will also be available on November 1st!

The crazy Japanese third-person shooter and 3D platformer-in-one sends two tiny girls from outer space to earth, so that they can infiltrate a women’s college dormitory. Once arrived, the Pixies stealthily bustle about the regular sized girls’ towering legs and rooms to fulfill their mission: study human behavior in order to help overcome the social issues of their beloved home planet!
