New Licensed Cars and Tracks Revealed in Full-Throttle Trailer, Confirms July 16 Release Date

Maximum Entertainment and developers Zero Games Studios and Vision Réelle have just announced the release date for their highly anticipated simcade racer, Hot Lap Racing. Set to launch on July 16, the game will be available on both Nintendo Switch and PC, promising to bring the most exciting motorsport classes and eras to the track.

Excitement is building as Hot Lap Racing offers an expansive roster of over 50 cars, from classic Brabham models from the 60s to futuristic concepts like Formula Extreme which was created in collaboration with the Hot Lap Racing community. With more licensed rides joining the game’s roster, including the Brabham BT24, Minardi M191, Alfa Romeo 155 DTM, and Renault Laguna BTCC, players will have the opportunity to experience different time periods of motorsport in one game.

But that’s not all, the game also features 17 tracks with over 70 layouts for players to master. And the latest trailer has revealed some exciting additions, including two officially-licensed tracks – Jarama in Spain and Salzburgring in Austria – as well as two stages inspired by some of the greatest thrills in motorsport – Flagstaff and French Riviera.

Hot Lap Racing is not just a celebration of all things racing, it also offers a variety of game modes to cater to different players. Racing enthusiasts can choose to compete in individual categories such as GT, Endurance, or single-seater rides. While those looking for the ultimate challenge can take on the Free category, where all car classes share the same track for a generation-spanning contest.

One of the most exciting features of Hot Lap Racing is its Campaign Mode, which includes lessons from FEED RACING – a real-world organization that provides guidance for racers to improve their skills and set new records. This feature is perfect for newcomers to the racing genre, as it offers a comprehensive tour of lessons and helps players establish themselves as formidable legends on the track.

Hot Lap Racing stands out from other racing games as it is the first to license real tracks and cars from all motorsport categories and eras, including those never seen before in a Nintendo Switch game. This is a major feat for the developers and a testament to their commitment to providing players with a truly authentic racing experience.
