Atari is revving up its engines once again with exciting news for gamers everywhere. The iconic video game company is pleased to announce their latest adrenaline-pumping multiplayer racing game, NeoSprint, is set to launch on PC and consoles in Summer 2024. With its fast-paced gameplay, customizable cars, and thrilling multiplayer mode, NeoSprint is sure to be a hit among racing enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
Fans of classic arcade-style racing games will feel nostalgic as NeoSprint brings back the fun of single-screen co-op racing, a format first made popular in the 1970s by the Sprint Series arcade machines. However, NeoSprint takes this concept to the next level with its contemporary features, including a vibrant and immersive 3D isometric presentation, a track builder, and the ability to compete against other players from around the world.

In NeoSprint, players will have the opportunity to create and share their own custom racetracks with the player community. With the track builder feature, players can design their dream circuits with jumps and turns of up to three levels high, across three different biomes. Show off your creative skills and compete for the fastest time on your custom track.
But the real fun begins when you gather a group of friends and hit the multiplayer mode. Up to eight players can race against each other in intense, arcade-style mayhem. Friendships will be tested and rivalries will be born as you zoom towards the finish line.
For those looking for a solo racing experience, NeoSprint offers a single-player campaign mode where players can compete in multiple racing cups with increasingly difficult tracks. As you progress, you can unlock new decorations and car liveries to pimp out your ride.
But don’t worry, there’s something for every type of racer in NeoSprint. From obstacle courses to time trials, there is plenty of content to satisfy your need for speed. And with nine different car types to choose from, ranging from muscle cars to sports cars, you can customize your vehicle with colors and Atari-themed decals to create your dream car.

The game has been in early access on the Atari VCS since October 2023, and Atari and developer Headless Chicken Games have been using feedback from the community to refine the game for its PC and console launch.
