Fans of the popular MEGATON MUSASHI franchise have reason to celebrate as LEVEL5 Inc. announces the opening of pre-orders for the highly anticipated new addition to the series: MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED. The game is set to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and for the first time, on Steam®. Excitement is buzzing as players eagerly await the chance to become part of the epic battle to reclaim Earth from alien invaders.

In this robot action RPG, players take on the role of one of 16 pilots, each with their own unique abilities, as they team up to take back their planet. Adding to the excitement, MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED also features individual scenarios and quests that allow players to delve deeper into the characters and experience exhilarating battles.

But the customization options in this game go beyond the typical, as players can customize their robots, known as “Rogues,” not only by reconfiguring the body, arms, and legs, but also by altering and enhancing their performance with the use of a motherboard. This adds a whole new level of personalization and strategy to gameplay.

To make the release even more enticing, the Deluxe Edition of the game will include two new Rogues, along with a digital art book featuring over 90 pages of never-before-seen material. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch version will open on April 11 and will end on April 25. As for the Steam version, there is no pre-order option, but players can still purchase the limited-edition Rogue Yatabushi on April 25.

MEGATON MUSASHI was conceptualized and directed by Akihiro Hino, with the anime adaptation being co-produced by TOKYO MX, LEVEL5, and OLM. The story centers around the citizens of a seemingly ordinary town, who are unaware of Earth’s destruction at the hands of an alien race known as the Draktor. These aliens have terraformed a new habitat, leaving humans to hide in shelters and wait for the day of resurrection – a day that may never come.

But for the citizens of the Ixia shelter, their memories have been erased, and they are protected by the elite pilots of the Rogues, fighting against the Draktor.
