BAHNSEN KNIGHTS POSTER 02

Bahnsen Knights, Pixel Pulp Visual Novel, Announces New December 14th Release Date

Play first chapters of follow-up to Mothmen 1966 and Varney Lake as part of Steam Next Fest

Publisher Chorus Worldwide and developer LCB Game Studio’s Bahnsen Knights visual novel series is coming to fruition as its highly anticipated third title, Bahnsen Knights, will launch on Thursday, December 14 for PC and Mac via Steam, PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Inspired by mid-20th century pulp fiction and 80s home computer graphics, the game’s launch comes after a delay from the initial October 26th date due to a death in the family of the game’s artist, Fernando “Fer” Martínez Ruppel. Today, Fer pays tribute to his sister, Mariana, and dedicates the game to her memory in a touching Steam post.

Centering around an undercover detective’s investigation into a wicked cult, Bahnsen Knights places the player in a dark, twisted county with life-threatening tornadoes. Through investigation, Boulder must gain the trust and friendship of the locals to steer the plot forward with heavy, life-altering decisions players must make.

The demo for the game is available now on Steam for PC and Mac, and has been released for this October’s Steam Next Fest. The demo includes the first two chapters of the game, leaving players with plenty of room to explore the world of the Bahnsen Knights and what exactly these “route exorcisms” are.

The demo will also allow players to play minigames such as solitaire, and investigate Danny’s Bar and various 1983 Ford Sierras.

All in all, players can expect a puzzlingly immersive experience as they dive into the world of Bahnsen Knights for only $9.99 / €9.99 / £8.49 with support for English, Spanish, German, French, and Japanese languages. Make sure to wishlist the game on Steam and PS5 so that you don’t miss its Thursday, December 14th launch!
