Indiesruption (Nine Witches) and publisher Blowfish Studios are the minds behind this pixel art horror adventure game which sees you assume the role of Oliver Mills, better known as his clown persona “Lazy Ollie”. Oliver is on a journey to find out the truth behind the devastation of the Vlad Circus in 1921, which killed hundreds of innocents and left the survivors scarred.
Vlad Circus: Descend into Madness players must traverse the eerie halls of Petrescu Manor which drags up Oliver’s past memories and reveals the ghastly truth from that fateful day. Managing Ollie’s stress levels and surviving his nightmares comes with a slew of puzzles to solve, abominations to flee or fight and a gripping storyline that will encourage you a seek out the truth until the very end.
Lead designer of Indiesruption, Diego Cánepa expressed his excitement about the game, describing it as an atmospheric horror game “full of evocative storytelling”. It’s set to be released on the 17th of October this year and will be available on all major platforms; with support for Windows, English, Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Spain), French, German and Russian languages.
